Managing Difficult Symptoms in Palliative Care

Maintaining good symptom control and managing difficult symptoms in palliative care can often be very challenging. Management of difficult symptoms in palliative care requires a combination of skills, knowledge and resourcefulness to achieve the desired outcomes and this day will address and support some of those challenging symptoms.
Some of the topics will be:
- Fatigue
- Breathlessness
- Neuropathic pain
- Anxiety
- Fungating lesions
- Lymphoedema
This day is suitable for any Health Care Professional faced with challenging situations and will be facilitated and led by Saint Francis Hospice Community Palliative Care and Triage Teams
