April update from Community Fundraising

Our Community Fundraising team have been extremely busy lately, with people all over the catchment area holding a variety of different fundraising events. Below is a snippet of some of these fantastic fundraisers - thank you to everyone for their support.
Our wonderful supporters Adele, Paul and Peter and all at Southern Expo presented a cheque for £4,000 from their two day Model Exhibition. They have now raised the amazing total of £48,500! We are so grateful for their continued support.
Sarahjane Baynes and Victoria O’Neill raised £2,378 at their Valentine’s Ball in memory of their Dad, Peter. Well done girls, thank you so much for all your hard work – we appreciate everything you do for us.
Did you see any of our 50 Meerkat baskets being raffled in your local pub or bar? Over £5,000 has been raised and they have even been seen making appearances at Slimming World classes!
Members of staff at Sainsbury's East Ham and their families raised £1,111 from a Karaoke and Disco held in memory of Marie Brooks, we are very grateful for their continued support, kindness and generosity .
Woolston Manor was the venue for a Ball arranged by Emma Puddick which raised the fantastic sum of£4,250 for patient care . We know how stressful it is to arrange an event like this, we can’t thank Emma enough for giving up so much of her time to raise funds for patient care.
Our Friends Groups in Havering, Ingatestone and Shenfield who have been with us since the Hospice was first founded have between them raised over £220,000! They have, over the years worked tirelessly putting on sales, tea parties, coffee mornings and have knitted the most beautiful items for sale. Thank you Ladies, we treasure your dedication and friendship.
