Pixie gives a Lott for hospice
18 October 2010

Local singer Pixie Lott is inviting one lucky competition winner to join her backstage at her concert in December.
Pixie has teamed up with Saint Francis Hospice and is offering a fan two tickets to her gig at Hammersmith Apollo on 7th December, loads of signed goodies and the chance to have a meet and greet with her backstage.
She is donating the prize in remembrance of her great aunt, Irene Simmons, who was a patient at the Havering-atte-Bower based charity.
She said: “My aunt received excellent care during her time at the hospice. The staff do such a fantastic job of providing care and support for people living with a terminal illness, as well as their families, so I wanted to donate this prize in remembrance of her.”
At 19, Pixie, from Brentwood, was nominated for three Brit Awards, has a platinum selling album ‘Turn It Up’ and six top 20 singles, including number ones ‘Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh)’ and ‘Boys and Girls’. She was also recently a judge on the X Factor.
Hospice fundraiser Lauren Josman said: “We are thrilled Pixie has donated this once in a lifetime prize to Saint Francis Hospice. Having the support of a local star is really special to us.”
For your chance to win this amazing prize, just answer the following multiple choice question:
Q. What is the name of the Saint Francis Hospice Mascot?
A. Freddie the Frog
B. Frankie the Lion
C. Michael the Mouse
Pixie said: “To find the answer visit the hospice’s website at www.sfh.org.uk, and to enter search Saint Francis Hospice on Facebook, click ‘like’ and post the answer there. Good luck - I can’t wait to meet you!”
Entrants must be aged 16 or over, and all entries must be made by 22nd November 2010.
