According to the Alzheimer’s Society there are around 800,000 people in the UK with dementia. One in three people over 65 will develop dementia. The number of people with dementia is increasing because people are living longer. Latest figures reveal dementia has overtaken heart disease as the leading cause of death in England and Wales.

This study day is for all healthcare professionals who work with people with dementia and end of life care issues. It is suitable for both qualified and non-qualified staff from any care setting.
