We're thrilled to be welcoming customers into our shops for the first time this year as lockdown restrictions begin to ease.

"We've longed for the day when we can reopen and welcome back our local community," said Michelle Nicholls, Director of Retail and Trading.

"All our customers will receive a very warm welcome when they visit our stores, and what's more, there's 50% off all clothing so there are lots of incredible bargains to be snapped up.

"Buying preloved goods is the way to go. Not only is every purchase making a difference to someone who is seriously ill and in need of our care, but it is also a wonderful way to help protect our planet.

"Your safety is our absolute priority and in line with government guidelines, social distancing measures are in place. Masks must continue to be worn and hand sanitisers are available in all our stores in Havering, Redbridge, Barking and Dagenham, and Brentwood."

Volunteers

With our 15 retail stores forced to close for over nine months and fundraising events and activities were cancelled, the Covid-19 pandemic has had a devastating impact on our ability to raise vital funds.

But despite all the challenges, we have continued to be there to care and support local people who are seriously ill at the Hospice and in the community.

As well as visiting our stores to shop, here are some other ways you can support us!

- Volunteer - We are also looking for volunteers to join our friendly team so if you have a few hours a week to spare, please get in touch to find out more about how you can get involved.
- Donations - if you've had a clear out or have any pre-loved goods to donate, please bring them to your nearest Saint Francis Hospice shop
