Let's Talk About Dying - Visitor's Programme
Course Date: 22 September 2010
Location: Pepperell Education Centre
2.00pm - 4.00pm
Are you dying to talk about dying? What is a good death? This year, the National Council for Palliative Care is launching its ‘dying matters’ awareness campaign. The idea is to encourage us all to talk more about death and dying, making it less taboo in our society.
Dying does matter, and whilst we do not find it easy to talk about, it will happen to us all at some stage. Well now is your chance to talk! Come and spend the afternoon in the Education Centre at Saint Francis Hospice, and have the opportunity to ask all the questions that up until now you have been afraid to ask. We will be joined by colleagues from other professions to enlighten and convince us all to talk more about our futures.
This event is available to all members of the public and is free of charge, however a donation towards the work of the hospice would be appreciated.
