COMMUNITY FUNDRAISER
Full time - 37.5 hours per week
Grade 4 – Salary £20,117 per annum

Saint Francis Hospice is looking for an enthusiastic and outgoing person with a flair for effective networking and making friends. If you are at ease in social situations, able to engage with a wide range of people and motivated by achieving tangible results then we would like to hear from you!
You will need to be an excellent communicator and negotiator with the ability to inspire and motivate others. You will also need to be a strong networker and organiser and be able to demonstrate your ability to deliver against targets.
Saint Francis is looking for a fellow fundraiser to work alongside the current team. Reporting to the Community Fundraising Manager, you will be responsible for growing income to support the charity’s operating costs. Previous success in fundraising, sales or marketing would be of interest to us, but your personal qualities, drive and potential to succeed in this role are paramount. You will need to be proficient in Microsoft Word, email and Excel and some knowledge of Publisher would be advantageous. A clean driving licence and car are essential for this post and along with the rest of the team you must be prepared to undertake work outside of normal office hours to assist supporters fundraising in the community.
So if you are a flexible individual with a “can-do” attitude with lots of initiative to maximize income, this job could be for you.
In return, we are offering excellent working conditions, 27 days holiday per annum, contributory pension scheme and paid mileage.
Together with the Community Fundraising Manager, you will be responsible for raising nearly £550,000 in the next financial year.

The Shops Company have the following vacancies:
PART TIME ASSISTANT SHOP MANAGER at our Romford Shop – South Street
22.5 hours per week (some weekend work)
Salary: £7.00 per hour
This is an exciting opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic person to promote the good reputation of the hospice by helping to optimise sales in our Romford shop. Retail experience is preferred but not essential. The successful candidate will be in charge in the absence of the Manager.

VOLUNTEEER DRIVER/DELIVERY PEOPLE REQUIRED
Hours to suit/Vehicle and Insurance provided.
The Shops Company are looking for volunteer drivers/delivery people to work from its shops. The role involves delivering and collecting furniture from the public and therefore appearance and manner are of key importance. A full drivers licence is required and the role involves some heavy lifting.
