Sponsor a nurse

Please make a real difference to the lives of local people and sponsor a nurse today. In the Brentwood, Havering, Barking & Dagenham and Redbridge areas, Saint Francis Hospice and its team of specialist nurses are a vital local service. For the sake of so many people, now and in the future, it’s a service we must not lose. That’s why it will mean so much to us if you will sponsor a nurse today and keep our wonderful nurses working at the heart of our community.

Saint Francis nurses are very special people. But like all the services we provide at Saint Francis, they don’t come as part of the NHS. Saint Francis Hospice is part of the local community, run by an independent charity. To keep our hospice going – including funding the Saint Francis nurses – we have to raise £19,500 every day, much of which has to come from individual well-wishers and supporters like you. That is why we are asking you to give £5 a month – just 17p a day – or whatever you can spare, to sponsor a Saint Francis nurse.

£5 a month over 12 months could pay for an hour of nursing care for a patient at home

£15 a month over 12 months could pay for a visit from a hospice nurse specialist

£25 a month over 12 months could pay for a patient to visit our day hospice

£54 a month over 12 months could pay for a days care in our inpatient unit
