Bogus callers steal collection boxes

Update: Following news of bogus callers stealing collection boxes from supporters, we are pleased to tell you police have now arrested a man in connection with the incidents.

Unfortunately we have some sad news to share!

Unscrupulous individuals have been posing as hospice workers and visiting supporters across our catchment area to exchange collection boxes for new ones.

The police have been alerted but we want to reassure our supporters that we have a robust procedure in place..

Our fundraising team will always be wearing identification and we will never call to collect a box without contacting a supporter in advance.

If anyone has any concerns please call our fundraising team on 01708 723 593.

Please share this message to help us alert as many people as we can about these bogus callers!

Below are the four members of our fundraising team who regularly deliver and replace collection boxes in the community.

Meet our volunteer driver David Cleverley!
