Snooker Superstars support Saint Francis Hospice

Saint Francis Hospice was thrilled with the support it received from some of World Snooker's finest players, at their Clay Pigeon Shoot at Down Hall Country House Hotel in August.

World Open winner 'The Captain' Ali Carter, was accompanied by 2015 World Champion Stuart Bingham, 6 time world champion Steve Davis and the legendary snooker impresario Barry Hearn.    


Mary-Anne Donovan, Corporate Partnership Executive with the hospice said 'Amazingly this talented group all hail from or live in Essex which makes their support so special to us"

"the event was a great success, we had glorious weather and support from Barclays, the Halifax, Balgores and Weston Homes"    


"The day was enjoyed by first time shooters as well as experienced marksman, the variety of the 7 different tasks which everyone undertook proved to be both challenging and entertaining"

Ian Plummer from PIP Electricals were the winning team and Ian took the honours and was the 'High Gun' on the day.     


The day concluded with a sumptuous 5 course lunch, a charity auction and presentation by Saint Francis Hospice patron Barry Hearn.
