Family hold sixth annual golf day in memory of their daughter

Amy Goacher was just 21 when she lost her battle with ovarian cancer in 2012.

Since then her mum Tina, dad Bob and sister Megan have been hosting an annual fundraiser in her memory, which is known as Amy's Day.

In August they brought family and friends together for the sixth year to celebrate her life and raise money for their chosen charities.

The day of golf and entertainment raised £2,000 for the hospice, bringing the total donated to £31,770.

This is on top of group picthe money they have donated to research into finding a cure for the disease and to SUDEP in memory of Amy's best friend Ellie who died in 2010.

Thank you Tina, Bob and Megan for your continued support - every penny makes a difference and goes a long way to helping people who need our end of life care services.
