The group aims to be practical and informative while giving people and their loved ones an opportunity to meet other people in a similar situation.

This is the second Tea and Talk at Toby's to be set up by the Hospice in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support and Toby Carvery following the success of the Brentwood group.

"Due to the success of the Brentwood Tea and Talk at Toby's we are delighted to be able to introduce the group to Redbridge with the support of the Redbridge Palliative Care team," said Karen Freeman, Project Manager of our confidential helpline OrangeLine which facilitates the group.                                               OrangeLine Volunteer Sally Hunter

"We are so grateful to Gemma and her team at Toby Carvery for providing us with such a great venue in which to meet.

"We know from the Brentwood group that people may tend to share their experiences and find friendship amongst others that understand exactly how they are feeling."

It will meet on the second Monday of every month (excluding bank holidays).
