Time FM brings sporting legends together to raise £2,300

Time FM hosted its very own question of sport when it brought West Ham legend Sir Trevor Brooking and World Snooker Champion Steve Davis together for an entertaining evening.

More than 100 people gathered at the R.U.S.S.C in Romford on Sunday to listen to Time FM DJ Tom Lane question the sporting stars about their careers and lives in the industry.

Over £2,300 was raised on the night through a combination of ticket sales and a raffle, which contained signed memorabilia donated by both men.   ST FRANCIS HOSPICE COPYRIGHT S ROWSE (2)

"The support we receive from local businesses like Time FM is vital in helping us raise the money we need to support the thousands of people who need our specialist end of life care services every year."

Lorna Waters, Station Manager at Time 107.5FM, added, "The evening went really well, Steve Davis and Sir Trevor lived up to their Legend status and everyone was so generous with their time and their money.

"Saint Francis Hospice touches many lives so it was a pleasure to help them raise some much needed funds."
