Our volunteers are known as the Golden Heartbeats. They are so special and do amazing things to support the work of our hospice. Volunteers come from all walks of life, from every background and are every age.
We currently have over 650 volunteers, ranging in age from 18 to 87, who use their skills and time to support the hospice.
We are always looking for more volunteers to help and there are so many ways you can do that.

In our Hospice
Volunteers run our reception desk, make sure our gardens look beautiful, support clinical staff on the ward and in our therapy department and help behind the scenes with admin support.
In our retail department
Our shops raise over £1 million annually for people in our care. Become a shop volunteer and help us make a real difference. Gain skills and make friends when you volunteer in our shops.
