We have roles in all departments of the Hospice, please have a look below at our current volunteering vacancies.

We need someone to assist the Retail Maintenance Officer by undertaking a wide range of duties associated with general maintenance of the retail buildings and fixed and portable plant equipment, across Havering, Brentwood, Barking & Dagenham and Redbridge.
Julie Dods
Our Family Support Bereavement Service provides counselling service to individual who have experienced a bereavement. This includes counselling in the hospice aswell as home visits.

Do you have a creative flair? Join us as a volunteer photographer to support and capture images which will be featured on various marketing materials. 
Admin role profile picture
We are looking for volunteers to help with assisting our office teams with a variety of administrative tasks, supporting the day to day running of departments and retail.  
Complementary therapy (cropped)
Are you qualified in complementary therapy? We are looking for volunteers to work within our Complementary Therapy team, providing a range of services to patients and carers. 
Domestic Team - new uniform
Our Domestic team work in close proximity with patients, relatives and visitors, while remaining sensitive. The Hospice wouldn't be able to run without our Domestic team ensuring cleanliness around all areas.

We are looking for drivers/drivers mates to pick up and drop off patients, help our retail outlets with house clearances, pick ups and delivery and to support our fundraising team with collections and delivery. If this appeals to you then why not become a volunteer driver?

All of our 16 retail stores are busy, bustling and rewarding places to volunteer. You will be busy with the excitement of rummaging through new donations, greeting customers or getting creative with window dressing, merchandising and using the till.

Our receptionists are the first people that families see when coming to visit loved ones - they are a vital part of the care that we provide and are a main point of call to families looking for more information.

Maintenance profile image
Our Estates team need volunteers who can help and support with the maintenance of our Hospice and grounds. We are looking for dedicated volunteers who are able to provide maintenance tasks around the Hospice, assisting various departments.   
Our gardeners
Our Hospice grounds have won various awards over the years, however this would not have been possible without the help of our volunteers. If you love to prune, pick and sweep then this role would be a perfect for those looking to help their local hospice.   
We are in need of volunteers for our online retail department to list, scan and pack items which have been sent through to our head office for online sale. If you enjoy watching items on eBay or the thrill of sales, why not join our team and raise vital funds for your local Hospice?   
We need individuals to help with the department's telephone support service and, if able to, help with our support groups and/or friendship clubs organised by OrangeLine.
