This role is home working/remote. The main hospice site is located at Havering-atte-Bower, outskirts of Romford, RM4 1QH should there be a requirement to be onsite for any meetings.

Contract type:

Fixed term contract - maternity cover for the duration of the maternity leave.

Saint Francis Hospice is looking for an organised, proactive and creative Individual Giving Officer (Maternity Cover) to support our fundraising team during a maternity cover period (12 months). This role plays a key part in delivering our Cause Led and Gaming programmes — including lottery, raffles, appeals, regular giving, in-memory fundraising and gift aid.


Working closely with our Individual Giving Managers, you’ll help plan, deliver and evaluate a wide range of fundraising campaigns across channels such as direct mail, email, social media, telemarketing and face?to?face activity. You’ll ensure supporters receive compelling, on-brand communications and that every campaign is delivered on time, within budget and to a high standard.


You’ll bring experience in campaign or project management, a good understanding of direct marketing principles, and a natural ability to juggle multiple projects. Accuracy, data insight and strong supplier relationships will be central to your success.
