Intermediate Communication Skills Training

9.30am - 4.00pm

This study day is for all health or social care professionals working with people with life-limiting illness. It is aimed at staff that already have basic communication skills and wish to develop their skills further.

You will study:

• Principles of effective communication
• Consequences when communication goes wrong
• Addressing different emotions, anger and distress
• A practical session: discussing and rehearsing approaches to challenging situations
