This study day is for all health or social care professionals working with people with palliative or end of life care needs.. It is aimed at staff that already have basic communication skills and wish to develop their skills further.
You will study:
- Principles of effective communication
- Consequences when communication goes wrong
- Addressing different emotions, anger and distress
- A practical session: discussing and rehearsing approaches to challenging situations
