Intermediate Communication Skills Training

This study day is for all health or social care professionals working with people with life-limiting illness. It is aimed at staff that already have basic communication skills and wish to develop their skills further.
You will study:
- Principles of effective communication
- Consequences when communication goes wrong
- Addressing different emotions, anger and distress
- A practical session: discussing and rehearsing approaches to challenging situations
