Are you passionate about delivering exceptional recruitment and employee services? Do you thrive in a leadership role where collaboration and innovation are key? Saint Francis Hospice is seeking a Recruitment and Employee Services Team Leader to join our People & Culture team.


About the Role

You will lead and develop our recruitment and employee services team, ensuring high performance and a professional, customer-focused approach. This role is pivotal in supporting workforce planning, managing end-to-end recruitment campaigns, and overseeing employment lifecycle administration, supporting payroll and compliance.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for clinical and non-clinical roles, including executive-level positions.
  • Provide expert advice to managers on recruitment strategies and compliance.
  • Oversee onboarding, payroll transactions, and workforce data management.
  • Ensure governance processes for professional registrations, right-to-work checks, and DBS compliance.
  • Lead and support the recruitment and transactional services team, fostering an inclusive and collaborative environment.


About You

  • Proven experience in recruitment, ideally within healthcare, charity, or public sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and HR systems.
  • CIPD qualification (desirable).
