To help us achieve our strategic ambitions and continue providing exceptional services, we are looking for a proactive and relationship-focused Finance Business Partner to join our team.


About the role

As our Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting Directorates across the Hospice by providing clear, insightful financial advice. You will work closely with managers and senior leaders, using your analytical skills and professional judgement to help them understand performance, identify risks and opportunities, and make informed decisions.


You will be responsible for timely monthly reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, financial analysis, and supporting business cases. Your ability to communicate complex information clearly, build strong relationships, and challenge constructively will be essential.


About you

We’re looking for someone who embodies our Hospice values: Compassionate, Collaborative and Creative.

You will also bring:

Working towards a professional accountancy qualification (e.g. AAT, certificate-level or equivalent).

Strong practical skills in Microsoft Excel and other MS applications.

Experience in financial coding structures and financial processes.

Confidence in presenting financial information to stakeholders, including non-finance colleagues.

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use insight to highlight risks and opportunities.

Excellent prioritisation, accuracy, and attention to detail.

A collaborative, proactive approach, and the ability to work to deadlines.

Experience within a complex financial environment, working with regulators or commissioners, and financial modelling would be advantageous but not essential.
