Donations make a happy Christmas
An area within an Upminster charity shop is now full of Christmas gifts and decoration.
The area used for the rest of the year to sell donated golf clothing and equipment has been transformed into a Christmas grotto in the Saint Francis Hospice shop at 145 St Mary's Lane in Upminster.
Manager Yvonne Waite (pictured) said: "Our Christmas grotto will be here until the stock sells out!"
"We have been collecting and storing Christmas themed gifts and decorations throughout the year and I'd like to thank all the volunteers who have tagged and sorted all the things that are now on display,"said Yvonne.
"Our small Christmas ornaments are selling really well this year but to keep everything going right up until Christmas we would love more donations, particularly of Christmas trees, large ornaments and festive lights."
Donations can be dropped into the shop between 9am and 5pm Monday to Saturday or at any of the numerous Drop Spots that are listed on the hospice's website here.
