We are looking for qualified and compassionate reflexologists to support our Therapies Team in providing holistic care to patients and their carers.

Our complementary therapy services are an important part of the care we provide, helping to promote relaxation, ease discomfort and support emotional wellbeing at a difficult time.

If you are a trained reflexologist with a caring and empathetic approach, and would like to use your skills to make a meaningful difference, this could be the opportunity for you.

What’s involved?

  • Providing reflexology treatments to patients and carers in line with hospice policies
  • Liaising with the Therapies Team to prioritise referrals and plan sessions
  • Working closely with nursing staff, particularly for ward-based referrals
Gaining verbal consent before delivering treatments
  • Making accurate records of sessions using iCare
  • Ensuring all equipment and consumables are safe, stocked and in date
  • Working collaboratively with the Therapies Manager and wider team
  • Attending team meetings, supervision sessions and required training

Who are we looking for?

  • Do you hold a Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology (including Anatomy and Physiology)?
  • Do you have at least two years’ post-qualification experience?
  • Are you registered with a recognised professional body?
  • Do you have current personal indemnity insurance and an Enhanced DBS?
  • Are you confident using IT systems and recording activity accurately?
  • Do you have experience supporting individuals who may be distressed or unwell?
  • Are you a good listener, empathetic and able to communicate sensitively?
  • Are you flexible and able to work within an agreed rota (Monday–Friday, 10.30am–3.30pm)?

Then we would love to hear from you!
