Havering Half Marathon
The Havering Half Marathon is back for 2021! After a year without events, the Havering Half Marathon is due to be one of the first mass running events being held locally and is your chance to put all of your daily exercise to good use.
At just three weeks before the Virgin London Marathon this also could form a fantastic part of the training plans and preparation for those taking part.
The Havering Half Marathon route exits the grounds onto Abbs Cross Lane, and heads towards Rainham. It takes in the Ingrebourne Hill and Hornchurch Country parks before exiting out onto the Upminster Lanes. It takes in Parklands park and the Ingrbourne Valley, returns through Hornchurch Country Park and back onto Abbs Cross Lane towards the sports centre finish line.
This year sees the introduction of a new element of the event - a 10k run to take place alongside the main half marathon.
We are inviting you to run in this event in aid of Saint Francis Hospice. Your registration fee will go directly to Havering Mind as the organiser of this event but if you want to make a difference to the lives of people living locally with life limiting illness then take on the challenge to raise £200 in sponsorship!
By choosing to run in aid of Saint Francis Hospice you will benefit from the UK Athletics Affiliated Price (£2 cheaper than standard entry).
By raising £200 in sponsorship, you could pay for a patient to receive 8 hours of care on our Hospice ward.
