Make a dedication

This year, instead of writing in the book of remembrance, you can light up the life of your loved one by sharing their name, a photograph or a memory on the hospice’s new Light Up a Life online dedication page.

I made a booking but want to add more people

If you have made a booking previously and would like to add additional tickets to a service, please call our Supporter Relations Team on 01708 723593 or send an email to srt@sfh.org.uk

Will my dedication appear at a service?

While we've cherished sharing memories in our remembrance books at past events, a dedication page offers an exciting new way to remember your loved one. We know this may be a change from our past traditions, but we believe this dedication page offers a beautiful way to remember your loved ones while supporting our important work.

Can I add more than one dedication?

Yes, you can add more than one dedication to our dedication page.

Is there a cost associated with creating a dedication/attending a service?

While there is no cost to make a dedication or attend a service, we welcome donations to the hospice as part of our Light Up a Life appeal.

Can I add a photo to my dedication?

Yes! You can add a photo of your loved one you are dedicating a page to.

Is there a character limit for my dedication message?

The character limit for messages is around 100 characters.

Can I edit/remove my dedication after I've submitted it?

If you would like to make any changes to your dedication, please call our Supporter Relations Team on 01708 723593 or send an email to srt@sfh.org.uk
