Step into Christmas with Saint Francis Hospice

October is here, and that can only mean one thing: Sir Cliff is preparing to come out of hibernation as we speak. As the autumnal chill sets in, we think that now is an acceptable time to start talking all things Christmas.

If you're not feeling Christmassy yet, then allow us to get you in the mood: welcome to Saint Francis Hospice's countdown to Christmas.

Our charity retail stores are packed with new and pre-loved favourites we know you will love. You'll find Christmas gifts for even the most hard-to-buy-for friends and relatives. Electrical goods, toys, books, toiletries, cosmetics, jewellery, clothing and accessories not forgetting our unique Christmas cards are in abundance.

We're especially fond of our festive greetings cards this year. Expect snowy paintings showcasing our impressive 19th-century mansion set in the beautiful surroundings of this quaint English village: Havering-atte-Bower.

You'll also find Christmas trees, baubles, crackers and candles to deck your home with festive sparkle. If in true Noddy Holder style, you'll be waiting for the family to arrive and wondering if you've got the room to spare inside, there are glasses, plates, tables, chairs, beds, blankets and throws.

There are so many '3 for 2' offers in the run-up to the festive period. Why not donate that third item to one of our stores? They make great secret stocking fillers and secret Santa gifts; we have plenty of 'under a tenner' presents.

Not only will you be saving you and your bank balance from the dreaded January blues, but you'll also be doing something amazing. You'll be supporting our Hospice and our patients who really need a festive cheer.

Happy shopping, and remember: the money from every purchase you make goes towards caring for our patients living with life-limiting illnesses and providing bereavement therapy for families often young children who will be without a parent this Christmas.

With only 27% of our total costs coming from the government, we will need to find over £7.8m between this Christmas and next for our Hospice to survive.

You can find a full list of our stores here.
