Death, Celebrations... and Chocolate

23-02-2018
09.30-16.30
Education Centre
This study day adresses the natural process of dying, dispelling myths and allowing caregivers to support dying people well. Alongside sharing experiences we will indulge in the delicious treat of chocolate, which although supported by little research, is thought to have some health benefits. The day is designed to be interactive.

What will I study?
• Myths around end of life care and the realities.
• Aspects of grief and communication skills.
• We will visit a local undertakers and Herongate Woodland cemetery to address what happens to our bodies after we die.

On booking the day please make the team aware if you require transport in the afternoon to the off site visits.

£50 per person
