And after attending a Dementia Friends seminar at the Hospice and meeting with staff to find out more about our services, Neil wanted to get more involved.    Maureen Ballard with Georgie and her partner Neil Duggan (cropped)

So during his year as Worshipful Master of Old Esthameians, he organised two fundraising events, a ladies' festival weekend and a special lunch at Raphael's Restaurant and Grill - raising an incredible £1,205!

Michelle Gower, our Community Partnerships Manager, said, "It was lovely to be invited along to a fundraising event and to meet members.

"We are very grateful to Neil and the members of Old Esthameians for all their support and for this generous donation."
