Supporter's generous donation to provide dignity bags

A generous supporter donated £1,000 so bereaved families can be given a dignity bag to put their loved ones' possessions in.

Stephen Granditer was delighted his donation will make a difference to families.

The dignity bags are kept on our inpatient unit and given to people following the death of their family members.

Lorraine Roadnight, Individual Manager, said, "We are so grateful to Mr Granditer for his generous donation to enable us to purchase dignity bags for our patients and their families.

"It is lovely to be able to offer 'over and above' the specialised care a person receives from Saint Francis Hospice and we couldn't have done this without the kind support from Mr Granditer."
