An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic, self-motivated, highly experienced nurse with excellent clinical palliative care practice and knowledge, to join our well-established specialist community and inpatient nursing and medical services as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner.
This post will provide varied senior experience in a multidisciplinary working environment both within the Specialist community services and the 18 -bed Inpatient unit.
Across the Hospice our services work within the boundaries of Barking & Dagenham, Havering, Brentwood, West Essex and Redbridge and provides Inpatient care, Hospice at Home, Therapies and Wellbeing, Community Clinical Specialist services including out of hours advisory telephone support. Working collaboratively with other internal and external healthcare professionals is an essential part of the specialist services.
We are looking for a candidate who has advanced communication, clinical assessment / prioritisation skills, and understands the complex needs of those receiving specialist palliative care /end of life care as well as competency in evidence-based practice and the ability share a sound knowledge of current initiatives and developments in palliative care.

Extensive Community experience with lone working involved would be additionally valuable to this new post and successful non-medical prescribing qualification ideal for further development of community services offer into the community.
Relevant experience of working at a senior level, managing a complex clinical caseload with appropriate supporting qualifications as well as any evidence of appropriate leadership learning.
