Who is this study for? 
This is a higher level practical communication skills course designed for registered professionals working in health and social care who are involved in providing end of life care. The need for appropriate training around DNACPR has been recognised by several professional bodies. The document published by the British Medical Association, Resuscitation Council UK and the Royal College of Nursing (2016) is used as key guidance. 

What will I study? 
> Principles of biomedical ethics and moral courage. 
> Discussions around DVD scenarios of DNACPR.
> Communication skills. 
> Role play as a teaching method to safely practice challenging communication situations and gain confidence.
