Here at Saint Francis Hospice, we aim to deliver the best possible experience of end of life and ensure that each death in our care is supported with all that we have to offer.

The P&C Advisor - Projects will play an important role in supporting the Hospice through culture change and to become a truly inclusive organisation. We believe that our new strategy for 2025 to 2030 will support the Hospice values and help us to become the employer and volunteer engager of choice in the Care sector.

The postholder will establish effective communication and information sharing regarding Hospice EDI and wellbeing activity and will gather input from stakeholders to inform their approach.

The role will assist the Head of OD, Inclusion and Engagement with change management and strategic projects and in addition to this support the EDI and wellbeing action plans for the workforce. It is important for people in our care, their loved ones and carers to know that as a Hospice we are constantly striving to improve the care we deliver, whilst looking at our practice openly and continuing to learn and develop our knowledge and skills.

As Saint Francis Hospice, we know that a mix of voices, backgrounds and experiences makes us stronger.  We're working to build a team that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve - and we warmly welcome applications from people who are often underrepresented in our sector.

  • This includes (but isn't limited to) people from:
  • Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds
  • Disabled people
  • LGBTQ+ communities
  • People from lower-income households
  • Those who've faced barriers to education or employment

If you tick every box in the job job description you are welcome to apply.  If you care about the work we do and think you could make a difference we'd love to hear from you.
