Hospice hosts Legacy Afternoon Tea Event

Saint Francis Hospice hosted a Legacy Afternoon Tea on Sunday 14th September, to say a special thank you to supporters for their ongoing passion and commitment to the hospice.
The event was held in Pemberton Place where our supporters enjoyed afternoon tea whilst listening to talks given by Saint Francis Hospice’s CEO Grazina Berry on the ongoing ward transformation and strategy for the next 5 years.
Trustee James Pepper and nurse Abigail Taylor also shared their personal experiences of hospice care.
“Our guests learned about the importance of leaving a gift in their Will as part of their lasting personal legacy which will enable us to fulfil our ambitions of the best end-of-life care for everyone in our local community,” said Susan Spencer, Legacy Manager at the hospice.
“Gifts in Wills support 1 in 5 of the people we care for and pledging to leave a gift in your Will is so special as it lets your kindness live on. Through your compassion and generosity, we can continue to make sure people with life-limiting illnesses are supported, as well as their friends and loved ones.”
