Royal wedding celebrations at a Harold Wood hair salon

Celebrations for the royal wedding started early at a Harold Wood hair salon today and Prince Harry and Meghan even stopped by to enjoy a scrumptious cream tea with customers.....well sort of!

Haircraft transformed into a tea room for the day and the finest China ware was on display, along with homemade cakes and scones.

Customers also brought along their wedding photos and treated themselves to a cuppa and cake while they reminisced and shared stories.

And with a life size cut out of Prince Harry and Meghan in the salon, it was as if the golden couple was there to join in the fun ahead of Saturday's nuptials!                                                                                Customers enjoying a cream tea!

"This is the fifth cream tea we have held to raise funds for Saint Francis Hospice," said Caroline Howell, who has run the salon in Oak Road for 23 years.

"We don't always have a theme but this seemed like the perfect opportunity to get everyone together.

"The customers really love it and it gives them a chance to come together and meet other people and it is all for a good cause!"
