Take on our brand new corporate challenge and join the Tour De Francis this Autumn!

Who will win the coveted Orange Jersey?

We are challenging teams from companies across our patch to enter their best cyclists for this static cycle challenge. Teams of 4 will have 30 minutes to cycle as far as they can on our static cycles, whilst raising money for our hospice.

Got a question? Take a look at our FAQ’s for more information.

How does it work?

Companies can enter 1 or more teams of 4 participants who will have 30 minutes to cycle as far as they can on our 2 static bikes. Teams can split this time however they wish but all team members must cycle and the 30 minutes will include the changeover times.

How much do we need to raise?

We ask all companies that take part to raise enough each to pay for a patients care for one day at the Hospice. This equates to £606. We will be awarding a prize to the company that raises the most, so all fundraising needs to be completed by the end of October for it to be counted in this challenge.

What are the rules?

Each team will have use of two static bikes for the challenge. They will have 30 minutes between them to clock up as many miles as they can. This could be split evenly at 15 minutes per person per bike or any other combination, however change overs will take time which is included in the 30 minutes. We will be using our own SFH bikes where possible, however if companies have their own access to static bikes we will allow them to use these.

Team scores will then be posted on our LinkedIn page after each session so keep an eye on the competition!

When will the challenge take place?

We will be running the challenge from the 23rd September for three weeks. Once you have registered your team, we will work with you to arrange a suitable time for us to bring the bikes and time you. The ride can take place in an office, canteen or any other meeting space you might have. It could even take place on a shop floor or in a window!

How will we raise the money?

Our team of fundraisers will be on hand throughout the challenge to help you raise as much as possible by providing different tips and ideas to get you started. The bets fundraising advice we can give to get you started is keep it simple!

What can we win?

Our winning teams will be furthest distance cycled and the company that raises the most money. We will be celebrating our winners of this challenge at our brand new Business Awards event in 2020, where you will be presented with your trophy.

I haven’t got an office space, can I still take part?

Yes! We will be arranging days in public spaces as well in town centres so you would be welcome to book on to one of these days. We will information about this soon but ask us when you register your team.

Can our company register more than one team?

Yes the more teams the better, however each team would need to register and aim to raise funds for the Hospice.
