Supporters, businesses and golf enthusiasts came together at Abridge Golf Club for another successful Barry Hearn Golf Day, raising an incredible £32,000 for Saint Francis Hospice.

The event brought together teams for a day of golf, networking and fundraising, all in support of local people living with incurable illnesses and those closest to them.

"We're incredibly grateful to everyone who supported this year's Barry Hearn Golf Day," said Chloe Winter, Head of Fundraising at Saint Francis Hospice.

"Once again, our supporters showed remarkable generosity and helped create a truly memorable day. The funds raised will make a real difference to local people and their loved ones, ensuring they receive the care and support they need when it matters most."

Guests were welcomed with breakfast before taking to the course for a shotgun start. Throughout the day, players enjoyed refreshments at the Halfway House and took part in a range of competitions, including Nearest to the Pin, Longest Drive and the exclusive Halfway PDC Darts Challenge.

The excitement continued off the course, with a charity raffle and silent auction helping to raise vital funds that will support hospice care across the local community.

The day ended with dinner, drinks and prize presentations, giving supporters the opportunity to celebrate a fantastic day while reflecting on the difference their support will make.

Saint Francis Hospice would like to thank everyone who attended, sponsored the event, donated prizes and helped make the day such a success. Special thanks go to our patron Barry Hearn, the Matchroom team, Echelon and Abridge Golf Club for their continued generosity and support.

"The £32,000 raised will help the hospice continue providing compassionate, safe and dignified care for people with incurable illnesses, whether in their own homes, in the community or on the hospice ward," said Chloe.

"It will also help provide emotional and practical support to loved ones facing some of life's most difficult moments.

"Thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success. We look forward to welcoming players back next year for another fantastic day on the fairways."
