Harrison Ballard, and his two friends, Harrison O'Shea and Cam Grinyer, ran the Geneva marathon recently and together they raised £18,265.22 for the patients in our care.

Harrison says, "It was on our bucket lists to take part in the Geneva Marathon, so we were pleased when we all got a place at this year's event. Running a marathon requires physical and mental stamina and we wanted to challenge ourselves.

"Training was tough - really tough. But it was so much better going through it together as a three rather than alone.

"The marathon was a great day but my favourite part was crossing the finish line! I was so proud of what I had achieved.

"We managed to raise over £18,000 thanks to the very generous support of our friends, family and different companies. Trafigura in particular helped us raise a lot! It was amazing to raise so much knowing from personal experience how much time and effort the whole team give to people who are so unwell, helping them make the best of a bad situation."
