Leave a Legacy of Care to Saint Francis Hospice today and help us to make a real difference

Hospice care is more than you think, and it’s closer than you know. 1in 3 people will be touched by hospice care at some point in their lives - somewhere in your life, in your family, your friendships, your community, the support hospices provide are already making a difference in ways you might not expect.

This month, from 14^th-30^th September, Saint Francis Hospice is excited to be joining Hospice UK’s National Legacy Campaign “This is Hospice Care”, which helps to raise awareness of the invaluable care hospices provide and how leaving a gift in your Will to your local hospice can help support future care needs.

For over 42 years, Saint Francis Hospice has been at the heart of the local community’s story. We’ve been here for hundreds of local families during this time and have received wonderful support from people in many ways, including generous legacy gifts of all sizes, in thanks and recognition for the care given to family, friends and loved ones.

1 in 5 people we care for are supported by gifts in Wills from our amazing supporters, who know that the care we provide matters enough to be protected through giving in this special way, and helps to make sure we can be there for our community when it really matters.

After taking care of loved ones, a gift of any size could really help to make a real impact to our work – we are a local charity, and supporting the hospice in this way means that your gift costs you nothing now but will help to provide amazing care in the future for people and their loved ones when they need it most. There are also tax benefits when leaving a gift to charity, where any gift left to charity is tax-free, meaning it's taken out of your estate before calculating Inheritance Tax, which can help reduce your overall tax bill.
