Pub quizzers raise almost £65,000

On Thursday, January 17th, they presented our fundraising team with their latest donation of £5,336, which was raised from its weekly quiz night throughout 2018.  


This brings the total raised over more than 11 years to a staggering £64,990!

Hospice Fundraiser Andy Furneaux, said, "This is a tremendous amount of money to raise and we are bowled over by the generosity of the pub and its customers who have continued to support their local hospice for more than 11 years.  


"It costs £21,000 a day to cover the cost of providing our extensive range of specialist end of life care and support services and their donations are making a huge difference to patients and families at the most difficult time in their lives."
