Saint Francis Hospice hosts a Magical Christmas Grotto and Market

Saint Francis Hospice is inviting the community to step into a world of festive magic at its Christmas Grotto and Market.
Taking place over two days (Saturday 29th November and Sunday 30th November) in the Pepperell Education Centre at the hospice in Havering-atte-Bower, this heart-warming Christmas Grotto and Market will bring people together to celebrate the spirit of Christmas while raising vital funds for its compassionate care.
Children will be enchanted as they meet Santa Claus in his grotto, where every child will receive a special gift to take home. Young visitors can also gather in the cosy Story Corner, where Santa’s elves – and perhaps even Mrs Christmas herself – will share magical Christmas tales. They’ll also be able to get creative and make festive decorations.
The hospice will also have a special post box where children can even post letters to Santa.
Alongside the grotto, visitors can explore a festive Christmas Market, hosted by the charity’s retail team, where they will be able to pick up gift sets, stocking fillers and lots more festive products.
“We’re excited to be hosting our annual Christmas Grotto and Market and this year visitors are in for a real treat,” said Charlotte Winder, Events Manager at Saint Francis Hospice.
“Book your tickets today to come along, enjoy the festive fun, and make magical memories - It is the perfect way to kick off the festive season while helping us provide compassionate care for people and their loved ones at the most difficult time in their lives.”
Tickets cost £5 for adults (includes a mulled wine or hot drink of your choice and a mince pie) and £12 for children (includes entry to the grotto and a gift from Santa, plus lots of festive activities.
