Our golf days are supported by big hitters

There was a great turnout at our recent golf day in Thorndon Park Golf Club in Brentwood, we had glorious weather and golfers including Sir Trevor Brooking raved about the course and the impeccable condition of the greens.

Barry Hearn, one of our patrons and his company Matchroom Sport have been sponsoring Saint Francis Hospice Golf Days for eleven years, raising over £300,000 for patient care.

Pam Court, Chief Executive of the hospice, said: "Barry has taken our cause to his heart for many years now and he has been fantastic in helping us to raise money and attract supporters to Saint Francis Hospice."    


The next golf event is at Abridge Golf and Country Club on the 7th of October and places are booking out fast, this is a superb 18 hole course, set in 240 acres of beautiful Essex countryside, the course was designed by Sir Henry Cotton, legend of British golf and inductee in the World Golf Hall of Fame
