Why 12,000 Steps a day?

We’ve set the challenge at 12,000 steps because that’s what our dedicated Saint Francis Hospice nurses walk on an average shift.

Every step reflects the care, compassion and commitment they show to the individuals in our care and their loved ones.

By taking on 12,000 steps yourself, you’re walking in the shoes of the people who go the distance every day.

Join hundreds of local supporters taking on the ultimate walking challenge. Whether you’re on the pavements or the parks, every penny you raise helps provide expert care to our community.
